FAQ's

What are Shipping labels? What information do they carry?

Shipping labels are used to identify a package and its destination. They give the carrier and anyone handling the shipment the details needed to deliver it correctly. At a minimum shipping labels include the recipient’s name and address, the sender’s return address and any barcodes or tracking numbers required by the carrier.

What makes a good shipping label?

A good shipping label is clear and strong. The information must stay readable no matter what conditions the package goes through. This includes exposure to moisture, cold or heat and rough handling. If a label smears, tears or becomes hard to read it can cause delays or lost packages.

What surfaces do StickerJet shipping labels adhere to?

StickerJet shipping labels stick well to cardboard boxes, plastic containers, padded envelopes and wooden crates. For the adhesion the surface should be clean and dry before applying the label.

Are these labels suitable for chain shipments?

Yes. StickerJet shipping labels are made from vinyl, which holds up in environments. They stay intact in frozen conditions. This makes them ideal for chain shipments, especially for food, medicine, and other temperature-sensitive goods where regular paper labels might fail.

Can these be written on if needed?

Yes. The surface of the label accepts markers and most ballpoint pens so you can add handwritten notes if needed.

Do these labels work with shipping software and label printers?

StickerJet offers sizes that match shipping label formats so they usually work with standard systems. Always confirm compatibility with your equipment before ordering.
